Guidelines in Preparing Laboratory Report/Exercise

1. Use short bond paper, 8 ½ x 11 inches with 1 inch border on all sides.
2. Lab report and exercises should be hand written using engineering lettering. Use black ink
only.
3. Contents and Sequencing of Lab report as follows:
a. Title Page
b. Objectives
c. Procedures
d. Data
e. Graphs
f. Conclusions
g. Solution to Problems

For Exercise
a. Title Page
b. Answers/Solution to the Problems

4. Format of Title Page – refer to sample in the next page.


5. Mark every page of your lab report starting with title page at the lower middle part of each
page. For example, if your lab report consists of 8 pages, title page must be marked as 1/8 and
encircle it.
6. Images should be clear and readable.
7. Criteria for grading lab report:
Presentation (P) – 30 %
Data (D) – 40%
Conclusion (C) – 10%
Answer/Solutions to Problems (SP) - 20%

Criteria for grading exercise:


Presentation (P) – 30%
Answer/Solutions to Problems (SP) – 70%
8. Deadline for the submission of your lab report will be every Friday at 1:00 pm thru LMS (Xepto
Cloud).
