INTRODUCTION

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

Growth of plants. Plant maintenance is challenging; good plant growth requires a lot of
effort and a protracted procedure. Making your own fertilizer can be a great method to
improve the soil in your garden and support the growth of your plants. In addition to ensuring
that your plants receive the nutrients they require, organic soil additions can significantly
improve the quality of the soil you currently have. Adding more than just fertilizers to grow
your plants will make your process run effectively, such as making filtered sewage water to
hydrate your plants, since some fertilizers don't seem to affect the growth of the plants. The
usage of wastewater can also result in ecological problems from contaminated soil and
groundwater. If properly planned, performed, and maintained, wastewater irrigation can have
a number of advantages and environmental uses. If it does not include too many heavy metals,
municipal filtered sewage water may be used for crop irrigation with very little environmental
impact. In addition to accelerating plant growth, using sewage water for irrigation reduces the
amount of chemical fertilizers.
We are conducting this study to determine the effect of combination of organic fertilizers and
filtered sewage water, and how will it help the local farmers and plantito/plantita to try the
combination of organic fertilizers and filtered sewage water to their crops and plants. Organic
fertilizers promote bacterial and fungal activity in the soil, which helps the soil hold onto water
for longer. Therefore, they benefit not only your plants but also the soil. They quickly replenish
soil fertility and supply nutrients to plants. They are transportable and simple to move about.
Fertilizer is readily absorbed by plants. Fertilizers enhance and boost the yield of numerous
crops, such as rice, wheat, and maize. Often, the sole source of water for irrigation is filthy
water. However, in situations when alternative water sources are also accessible, small farmers
frequently prefer wastewater due to the high nutritional content, which may minimize or even
completely remove the need for more expensive chemical fertilizers.
Combining organic fertilizer and filtered sewage water for watering the plants gives us the
higher positive rate of the plant to survive and grow.
