    SUBJECT: PUBLICATION OF FINANCIAL MEMBERS LIST IN THE DAILIES AND
    DELISTING OF DEFAULTING MEMBERS’ NAMES BY END OF JUNE 2024
    DATE: 9TH FEBRUARY 2024

    The National Executive Council (NEC) 2023-2025 during her meeting held on Friday
    26th January, 2024 resolved among other matters as follows:

    1. PAYMENT OF ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS


    In line with Article 10.3.2 of NIQS Constitution, that “any existing member who
    fails to pay the annual membership renewal subscription by the last day of
    March of the year, after due notification shall have his membership status
    suspended provided such notification shall include 3 (Three) reminders by
    written mail”. The NEC shall implement this clause of the constitution to the
    letter.

    2. ERASURE OF NAMES OF FEES DEFAULTING MEMBERS FROM THE INSTITUTE'S


    REGISTER
    Following Article 10.3.2 of the NIQS Constitution, the NEC shall implement the
    provision of Article 10.4.1 to delist the names of a defaulting member from
    the membership register of the Institute and declare that such member is no
    longer a member of the Institute and demand the surrender of his Diploma
    Certificate by the end of June 2024.

    3. PUBLICATION
    3.1 The National Executive Council (NEC) resolved among other items that
    financial members list as at 31st March 2024 shall be published in the two
    national dailies and on the Institute’s website in the first week of April
    2024.

    3.2 That a grace period up to 30th June, 2024 shall be given to members and
    firms to pay up all outstanding or risk erasure of names of defaulting
    members thereafter.

    4. Members are as a result of this enjoined to pay their subscriptions and other
    levies on or before 31st March, 2024 for their names to be included in the
    financial members' list for the year 2024.

    5. Delisted members who wish to rejoin the Institute shall re-apply through the
    laid down certification process for new members.
