안녕하세요 여러분. Koreanclass101.com 하나하나 한글시리즈의 에이미입니다. Hi, everybody!
I’m Amy and welcome to Hana Hana Hangul on KoreanClass101.com - The fastest,
easiest, and most fun way to learn Hangul, the Korean alphabet.
In the last lesson, we began looking at vowels that combined horizontal and vertical
strokes, and we learned four of them. In this lesson, we will finish up the double vowels
-- and the Hangul! -- with just three more sounds.
ㅜ, ㅣ. ㅜ, ㅣ. ㅟ.
위 means up. 위
뒤 means back. 뒤
ㅜ, ㅓ. ㅜ, ㅓ. ㅝ.
Here are a few phrases that you will get a lot of use out of in Korean.
ㅜ, ㅔ. ㅜ, ㅔ. ㅞ.
Before the end of this lesson, let’s go over all these vowels one more time!
That’s it! You’ve learned everything there is to know about the Korean writing system.
Great job! By finishing this important step, you can now study the Korean language in
its natural form, without relying on romanization systems, and you’ve gained an
invaluable insight into how the language works that will help you even when you’re just
listening and speaking!
In our last lesson, I’ll help you take that first step in the transition from learning the
writing system to *using* the writing system to learn Korean. See you on the next Hana
