SAP introduced the Data Migration Cockpit to help organizations streamline their data migration process
and simplify the transition from legacy systems to SAP systems. Data migration is a critical step in any
system implementation, upgrade, or consolidation project, and it can be a complex and time-consuming
task.

The Data Migration Cockpit was designed to provide a streamlined service for managing the data migration
process, with features that automate many of the manual tasks involved in data migration.

One of the key benefits of the Data Migration Cockpit is that it supports a variety of data formats and data
sources, which allows businesses to migrate data from multiple legacy systems and data sources. It also
provides a flexible framework for data migration, which allows businesses to choose from a variety of data
migration strategies, depending on their specific needs and requirements.

Overall, the Data Migration Cockpit helps businesses to reduce the complexity and time involved in data
migration, which can lead to a smoother implementation or upgrade process and help businesses to
achieve their goals more efficiently.
