OIL PRESSURE CHECK

1 Close all stop valves of brake line.

2 Attach oil pressure gauge to hoisting relief valve.

3 Operate hoisting control handle.

Read oil pressure gauge and check if oil pressure is set to around 20.6MPa.

4 If necessary, please adjust setting pressure by adjuster.

Adjuster

5 Change position of oil pressure gauge to luffing /slewing relief valve.

6 Operate luffing or slewing control handle.

Read oil pressure gauge and check if oil pressure is set to around 20.6MPa.
And if necessary, adjust setting of oil pressure by adjuster.

7 Open all stop valves of brake line.

SPEED MEASUREMENT (WITH NO LOAD)

1 Check surrounding and confirm all clear.

2 Operate deck crane with no load and measure speed of each motion.

Operator:
Operate deck crane according to instruction from PIC in machinery room.

PIC in machinery room:

Instruct operator to operate deck crane (each motion with no load) and
measure the time for below mentioned rotation (rev) :

For hoisting: Time taken for 10 rev of wire on the drum.

For luffing: Time taken for 5 rev of wire on the drum.
For slewing:1 complete rotation.

3 Convert measured time as per below and compare with shop test data (no
load).

For hoisting (m/min)

V (m/min) = 961.8 / t ( t: measured sec / 10 rev)

For luffing (sec)

T (sec) = 2.44 t ( t: measured sec / 5 rev)

For slewing (rpm)

R (rpm) = 60 / t ( t: sec / 1 rev)
