Draft 1

Introduction, a summary of resources and literature chapters.

Make sure you create your introduction based on your readings and use proper INTEXT CITATIONS
and end references.

Make sure you use the template as it is preformatted and gives you clear information about what
needs to be in this area.

As mentioned in the template the part 1.1 study area is optional for example when you take a
specific case study approach only on the ‘Marriott’ or Accor chain. Or if you focus only on the area
of Europe or a specific country.

Therefore, often in your first draft, this is kept blank to be filled in later (or not at all, if it is not
applicable).
Applied project structure, as mentioned in the template this part you will ONLY do for your last
draft!

The important part for your first part is the Introduction itself and the Aim and Objectives of the
Research questions:

An example of a research question would be:

How is the influence of Generation Z workers on teamwork affecting guest satisfaction in 5-star
hotels?

Your objectives can be then:

- To analyse characteristics of Generation Z workers related to teamwork.

- To compare how the characteristics of Generation Z workers differ from other generations.
- To discuss the teamwork influences on guest satisfaction.
For the Literature review, in this draft you need to minimum have the chapters ready and give the
references of certain articles and topics you want to discuss in each area.

It is highly recommended to have a little part already written in this first draft so your supervisor can
give you feedback so you can improve for the next draft.

Please note that in the template the headings are already formatted so it will automatically show in
your table of content. If you are not sure how this is done, please speak to your supervisor.

Remember to upload your draft before the deadline via Turnitin to your supervisor!
