ASN Women's Leadership

We are pleased to present the ASN Women's Leadership Program, which will
consist of five stages designed to empower and equip participants with essential
leadership skills:

1. Call for Applications:

• Timeline: March 16 - April 17, 2024

• Purpose: Outline eligibility criteria, deadline, and program benefits


to evaluate potential participants.

2. Applicant Interviews and Shortlisting:

• Timeline: Rolling basis starting from April 5, 2024

• Purpose: Conduct interviews to gather more information about


applicants’ community involvement and extracurricular activities.

3. Orientation Session:

• Timeline: May 3, 2024

• Purpose: Provide a comprehensive overview of the program, its


objectives, and benefits. Participants will have the opportunity to network with
each other.

4. Learning Modules and Activities:

• Timeline: May 11, 18, 25, & June 1, 2024

• Purpose: Divide the program into five modules to enhance


participants’ understanding of leadership. Participants will practice various
elements of women’s leadership and analyze advocacy strategies.

5. Cohort Project:

• Timeline: June 8, 2024

• Purpose: Participants will collaborate on a project focused on


addressing factors affecting women’s leadership and proposing potential
solutions through raising awareness.
Action plans

1. Call for Applications:


• Timeline: March 16 - April 17, 2024
Responsibilities:
Ms. Boulad, Ephrain, Mohamed, Samir, Ibn hajia.
Tasks:
• Define eligibility criteria, finalize application deadline, and outline
program benefits (March 16 - April 17, 2024).
• Design promotional materials and announcements (March 16 - April 17,
2024).

2. Applicant Interviews and Shortlisting:


• Timeline: Rolling basis starting from April 5, 2024
• Responsibilities:
Mohamed, Alimamy Sahid Conteh
Tasks:
• Schedule and conduct interviews with applicants (Rolling basis starting
from April 5, 2024).
• Shortlist candidates based on interview performance and application
review.

3. Orientation Session:
• Timeline: May 3, 2024
• Responsibilities:
All ASN Team members
Tasks:
• Organize and conduct the orientation session (May 3, 2024).
• Ensure participants receive information about program objectives,
schedule, and networking opportunities.

4. Learning Modules and Activities:


• Timeline: May 11, 18, 25, & June 1, 2024
• Responsibilities:
Ms. Mawada, Omar, Okello
Tasks:
• Coordinate the development and delivery of five modules (May 11, 18,
25, & June 1, 2024).
• Arrange guest speakers, workshops, and interactive activities.

5. Cohort Project:
• Timeline: June 8, 2024
• Responsibilities:
Ibn-Hajia, Ms. Boulad
Tasks:
• Facilitate collaboration on the cohort project (June 8, 2024).
• Guide participants in selecting and planning their project.

6. Overall Program Management:


• Responsibilities:
Ms. Mawada, ibn hajia
Tasks:
• Ensure smooth coordination and execution of all program activities.
• Coordinate communication between team members, participants, and
stakeholders.

7. Evaluation and Feedback:


• Responsibilities:
Ephrain, Samir
Tasks:
• Develop evaluation surveys to gather feedback on program content and
facilitation.
• Analyze feedback data to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

8. Challenges and Recommendations:


• Responsibilities:
Ms. Boulad, Mohamed
Tasks:
• Conduct a post-program debrief to discuss challenges and generate
recommendations for future programs.
