NOTICE

The 1 year and 2hd year MBAstudents are hereby notified that, the industrial visit
to "Kunj Alloys Pvt. Ltd. (KAPL), Bhubaneswar" and "Gupta Power
Infrastructure Limited, (GPIL), Bhubaneswar" are scheduled on 28 April
2023 (Friday) and on 29h April, 2023 (Saturday) respectively, organized by the
Department of Management Studies (MBA)in association with the Department
of Training & Placement (T&P), co-ordinated by Prof. Manas Chandan Mishra;
Head T&P. RITE.
All the students are required to participate in the industrial visit by wearing college
uniform, full shoes and identity card.
The students are instructed to assemble in the college premise by 9 AM for the
industrial visit, as the College bus will leave the campus at 9.30AM sharp on both
the days.

ABRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO KAPL, BBSk
The department of Training and Development in association with the Department of Managemen
Studies (MBA), Radhakrishna Institute of Technology & Engineering (RITE), Bhubaneswar
organized one day Industrial visit to Kunj Alloys Pvt. Ltd. (KAPL), Bhubaneswar on 28/04/2023 tor
the 1" year and 2 year MBA Students as per the letter no.-RITE/MBA/2022-23/07.
The visit was organized with the prior permission of The Principal, RITE. Head of the Department or
CE and T & D, Asst. Prof. Manas Chandan Mishra and Asst. Prof. Subhamanasini Nayak,
Department of Management Studies (MBA) accompanied the students for this industrial visit. Total
16 students (7 from 4h semester and 9 from 2nd semester. MBA) had joined this industrial visit. At the
site, the team was guided by Mr. Sunil Gupta, KAPL who provided insights regarding the differernt
stages of production of alloy, brief description about its branches, revenue generation and
monitoring, layout of the plant, number of employees, benefits provided by the organization to the
employees, CSR activities, performance appraisal system, conflict resolution procedure, and safety
measures for hazardous work, etc.
Location:
The plant is situated at the Zone B, Plot no. 09, Sector A, Mancheswar Industrial Estate.
Bhubaneswar, which is about 30 kms away from our institute.
Details of the journey:
We started traveling from RITE campus to KAPL, BBSR at 10:30 AM from our institute by
bus on 28h April 2023. We reached the KAPL gate at 10:50 AM. As soon as we reached their
security officer had taken the signature. After that we were enter into the Company we meet with Mr.
Sunil Gupta and his team. We are guided by our teachers Prof. ManasChandan Mishra and Prof.
SubhamanasiniNayak. First we all were guided to keep safety and then we went to Laboratory and
saw the quality testing measures and also they show us the demo how the actual works take place. We
were headed by Mr. SunilGupta who helped us to know how production is carried out and how well
the waste product are utilized as per economic of company. After getting all idea about production of
the company and we showed our appreciation to Sir and finally we thanking to all whom we met
there we took leave at 12:40 pm. We took snacks while returning from KAPL. We reached our
institution Campus at 01:45 pm

Feedback from students:
The students of MBA have enjoved the tour endeavor at KAPL, Bhubaneswar. This
Visit seems to be very informative and gives good learning experience. Students were well
mannered and disciplined throughout the visit and no injury or anything bad happened during
the industrial visit.

Allthe students are extremely thankful to honorable Management Committee, Principal Dr.
SubashRanjan Kabat, Dean Academics, Dr. ChandrabhanuMalla, HOD CE, and T&P Prof.
Manas Chandan Mishra, SWO Dr. Monika Sarkar and the HOD of MBA Prof. Chanchal
Mukherjee, and also to Prof. Renubala Pradhan and Prof. Subhamanasini Nayak, for
organizing and guiding the students for the above said Industrial visit.
