The world championship of petanque in 2016 happened in Madagascar on the four first days in
December. All Matched of championship took place at the ‘’Palais des sports Mahamasina’’. The whole Malagasy
nation was very happy to organize the famous competition the competition the place was carefully prepared by
the Malagasy federation of petanque. The palais des sports’’ was full of excited spectators. Who were supporting
applauding and crying out ‘’ Alefa, Alefa’’ during the first round. It means the eliminated matches. Supporters
were anxious because our team lost three matches. But after that they were walking up. The Malagasy players
grave their best to win the following matches. We were happy and very proud to sec our team getting the semi-
final, then the final matches. The score of the final competition (Madagascar vs Benin) was 13 and 05.
Madagascar team won. The whole Malagasy people were vesy proud of their team -it is an honor for
Madagascar. Thanks to Tita, Nanou, Hery and Lova.
