P2: Scope the personal media profile for an identified purpose

I created a mood board for a Welsh


Coffee company to help design and get
ideas for a logo design which I then
went on to make. A mood board
visualises your ideas to create the final
product and helps see colours side by
side. As I was making a coffee company,
a mood board allows me to take
inspiration and see my potential ideas
put together. This is important to add
to my media profile as it shows I have
been involved in creating various media
products.
I created a poster analysis for a music
festival that takes place in the summer.
The analysis shows that I understand
the purpose and thought that goes
behind a billboard. Analysing this helps
me to plan and gain ideas on what ii
could and couldn’t use in my own
billboard to inspire mine.

I made a media report to research and


see the find out about the different
audiences and what ages prefer to
watch streaming services over normal
TV. Through my research I looked at
different graphs which helped me
understand that younger audiences
are more likely to watch steaming
services over tv whilst older audiences
prefer tv.
