1. I need clarifications in my offer letter, who do I connect with?

Ans- You will need to write to the offers team and your respective recruitment SPOC who is in
touch with you. The Offers team Mail ID is provided in your offer letter.

2. Which documents do I need to carry on my first day?

Ans- - The documents are mentioned in detail in the offer. All these documents are mandatory. In case of
any issues with the same, please contact the Offer Team. Email ID is mentioned in the letter.

3. Will my reporting location & working location be the same?


Ans- Reporting location may not be the same as your working location. Reporting location is the
location where you will complete you onboarding & induction formalities. Your reporting location
is provided in your offer letter. The working location will be assigned to you by your manager
basis the project you will be aligned to.

4. I have queries on my Band/ Designation in IBM. Who do I connect with?


Ans- The details on the band and designation would have been explained to you by your
PDMer/hiring manager. Should you need more clarification you can connect with the your
respective SPOC from offer team.

5. I cannot join on the specified DOJ. Is there a way to change it?


Ans – Please note that any request for change in DOJ must be approved by the hiring manager. The process
to initiate a request is stated in the offer letter.

6. I am an outstation candidate & not familiar with the city. What is the best way to reach the
reporting location?
Ans – It is advisable to reach the reporting location a day in advance since the reporting time is early in the
morning. The reporting location addresses & contact numbers are provided in the sheet attached in your
email. You can connect with the respective locations for guidance on directions.

7. Will there be transport provided by the company for the work location?
Ans- Availability of company transportation (Bus or Shuttle) facility is dependent upon the work city &
location of the working office in the city. If available, the transportation is provided at a subsidized cost to
the employee. You can get more details on the same post your joining.

8. Who is the RBA? What is his/her role?


Ans- Royal Blue Ambassadors will help you in your transition to IBM. They are the single point of contact
for the first 30 days in IBM. They will connect with you for induction, help you to understand the different
policies and related programs, including medical insurance, claims, AMEX, etc. New joiners will typically
meet and interact with their location RBAs within the first 2 days of joining.

9. Who is a people manager (PeM) and what is his/her role?


Ans- Your PeM is your first point of contact for your Work, Career, Performance, and Development
avenues. Your PeM will help in resolving your day to day queries & concerns, conduct your appraisals &
guide & coach you for further development.
