Wishing you all a joyous and prosperous new year 2021.

We have almost come to the end of the academic year 2020-21 despite the unexpected disturbances
created by the Covid-19 pandemic. It was our firm commitment, in collaboration with your support, to
tide over the situation, giving a new hope to our children that life is not always a bed of roses, but it has
thorns as well. It has been our endeavour to provide the best education to the children who are under
our love and care in De Nobili since 1978. We are hopeful that the online as well as off line teachings
have provided your children with the much needed help during the pandemic, forcing them to learn
their day to day lessons regularly.
Final examinations: The Second Semester examinations for LKG - STD VIII will commence from Monday,
8th February, 2021. The question papers will be sent to your ward at 8.45a.m through whattsapp /school
website. The students are to start writing at 9.00 a.m. You will have to invigilate your ward at home and
collect the answer papers from your ward on time and keep them with you. Please strictly follow the duration
of exam that is mentioned in the question papers. All the second semester exam answer papers will be
collected from your ward after all the exams are over.

Points to remember:

1. The Second Semester exam question papers of LKG-Std VIII must be downloaded from the school
website/whatsapp.

2. 15 minutes reading time must be given to the child. (LKG-Std VIII)

3. Children must use ruled loose sheets of paper.

4.Name, Class, Section and Roll number must be clearly written on the top of the first page.

5. All the loose sheets must be tied with a piece of tread.

6. Diagrams/ Maps, if any, must be drawn neatly & clearly.

7. Answer papers must be collected and kept with you safely.

8. The school will not accept any late submission of the second semester answer papers from any
parents. Kindly adhere to the date and time given in the schedule.

Payment of fees: You are requested to clear all the fee dues of your ward by Saturday, 6th February, 2021.

Interim Holidays: Interim Holidays for LKG will be from Thursday, 11th February 2021 to Wednesday, 17th
March 2021. For UKG it will be from Saturday, 13th February 2021 to Wednesday, 17th March 2021. For Std
I-VIII it will be from Monday, 22nd February, 2021 to Wednesday, 17th March 2021.

Distribution of Report Cards: The Report Cards of the second semester examinations will be distributed to
the parents of LKG-STD V on Thursday,11th March,2021 and For Std VI-IX it will be on Friday, 12th March
2021. Timing : 8.00am to 12.00 noon.

Re-check: Anyone having genuine reason may apply for re-check to the Principal in writing within 2 days
after the declaration of the results. He/she has to pay Rs. 200/- per subject at the fee counter and know the
result from the Principal after five days.

Promotion: The promotion committee’s decision regarding the result is final. You are requested not to
pressurize for any consideration. The parents of the weak students are advised to make their ward(s) repeat
the class so as to make him/her academically strong in life.

“Report Cards will not be given to the fee defaulters”. The Fee defaulters will have to produce the fee card
along with the receipt after clearing the dues to collect the report cards. They can collect the report cards from
the office between 8.00am and 12.00 Noon.

Syllabus booklet: A printed class wise new syllabus booklet will be given to each child after the summer
holidays to enable you to prepare your wards well for the weekly tests as well as the semester exams.

Withdrawal: Those Parents who wish to withdraw their child from the school should apply in writing to the
Principal for T.C (T.C-Charge Rs. 500/-) by Saturday, 27th February 2021. If an advance notice is not
given, a month’s tuition fees will be charged.
New Academic Session: The new academic session 2021-22 will begin on Thursday, 18th March 2021.
Timings: 7.55am to 2.00pm.

Weekly test: From the next academic session 2021-22 onwards there will be only two cycles of weekly test
for Std I – X in each semester. Each weekly test will carry only 10 marks.

School Uniform: BOYS (LK.G. - X) : Steel grey trousers/shorts, (The High Collection(Gwalior) shade
No.11) white shirt with short sleeves, black shoes with laces (no pointed shoes) and black socks belt with
school logo (as prescribed). There is no change in the winter uniform for boys & girls.
Belt: Charcoal grey and white stripe at the centre & a rectangular buckle with school logo.

Girls (LKG - X)
KG : Checked pleated skirts (Q-Tax, D.No. 178, Double Tweel), with a bib in the front and cross suspenders
at the back. (I – X) Checked pleated skirts (Q-Tax, D. No. 178, Double Tweel)
All will wear white shirt with short sleeves, black shoes and dark grey socks with two white ribs,
Belt (KG-X): Steel grey with Navy blue stripe at the centre & an oval buckle with school logo.
Girls will not be allowed to wear cardigans in winter. Girls having long hair are to tie them in two neat
plaits.

The tuition fee for March of your ward for the session 2021-22 must be paid by cash or Debit/Credit card at
the fee counter between Wednesday, 17th March and Wednesday, 31st March 2021 (Except bank holidays)
failing which your ward’s name will be struck off the rolls. Kindly bring the fee card along with you at the
time of paying the tuition fees. Timing: 8.00am to 12.00 noon (on week days) and 8.00am to 11.00am
(on Saturday).
