The Way I See The World – Marcellio Salam and Vee Vanessa Binti Jawi

Through these set of miraculous eyes

I could see how transcendent the beauty of nature

Surrounded by the green oceans

The sound of the leaves wandering around the air

A treasure trope we must keep

I see the sky and clouds, hovering around the world

A view that most people consider ‘extraordinary’

Birds soaring and chippering

The plane traveling through the air

Makes the world seem more fascinating

Then there’s the ocean

The sound of the waves rippling forward

The smell of the blue water, the texture of the sand

The scenery of the beach that makes me feel pleased

Cleansin up my soul, my mind, my sanity

When the world turns gloomy,

The round moon appears to brighten the world

A companion

That follows through our paths, steps and our journey

Besides the moon there’s a star,

Spreading around the universe

As I wish upon the shooting stars

Thanking this life for giving me the chance to admire the world

As the sun rises, there’s a light

That shines so bright it kisses onto my cheeks

A lucent and glorious round shape

The life of birds and plants

That all must depend on

The way I see the world is through my lens

The world may seem indescribable, but the beauty isn’t

It is beautiful beyond expectation

But again, everybody has their own perspective , shaped

By experiences and surroundings

0ur world is beautiful

But it’s only a temporary illusion

As the world grows,

Creates as well as destroy

And as our mother, earth is slowly dying

And no one seems to notice

Natural disaster represents the world’s anger

Creating chaos and carnage

Collapsing the entire ecosystems

While tearing down the beauty of earth

Turning on self destruction mode

Because of massive deforestation

The animals are crying and dying

They have nowhere to live as their habitat falls

And it’s not their fault to even begin with

Summers are getting hotter

The smell of moaned lawn isn’t the same scent

As summer anymore

The heat is unbearable

Leaving a scorched and brown land

The water of the blue oceans,

Are once clean and hygienic

But now everything is dull and murky

And it’s all because of soil pollution,

Marine life are in danger and screaming for help

But no one seem to care

Walking through the city

My eyes wayfaring around the place

Piles of trash, plastic bags and cigarette butts

Littered on the ground

And everybody is just being nonchalant

The world is magnificent at it’s finest

Exquisite creations and creatures

Albeit ,

Don’t let the beauty fool you

Despite that the world creates as well as destroy

So from now on ,

Let’s appreciate and admire the little things

That the world produce
