Trying out SAP BTP capabilities is easier than ever. With free tier service plans, you can
experiment with SAP BTP and gain hands-on development experience. If you are completely
new to SAP BTP and not sure where to start, check out the free tier missions in SAP Discovery
Center and find the use case you are most interested in. Thanks to step-by-step guidance and
expert support, you can experience the platform and see how it supports you in solving your
business challenges.
But that’s not all. If you already have a PAYG or CPEA account, you can also use the free tier
service plans to test out new capabilities in your existing development projects, or use them
to create proof of concepts for new requirements. The possibilities are endless.
The best part is that you can easily upgrade to a paid service plan and get productive with just
the click of a button. You don’t have to rebuild everything from scratch – no work is lost. For

Free Tier Services in a Nutshell

● Each free tier service plan is limited by usage capacity on a monthly basis
● Free tier service plans do not expire
● You can consume free tier services for as long as your account is active, and you have not

plans
