HEROISM

DR. JOSE RIZAL

A.Who did the group choose and why?
Jose Rizal turned into a brilliant man who did outstanding
matters for the Philippines. He's like a hero that every Filipino
admires. Rizal became, in reality, clever and wrote books that
instructed stories approximately how bad things have been while
the Spanish dominated the Philippines. His memories made
people need to combat for his or her rights and freedom. But
Rizal didn't just write books. He also believed that education
become very crucial for everybody. He helped ill human beings
as a medical doctor, showing kindness and being concerned for
others. Even while the Spanish government become imply to him
and put him in jail, Rizal stayed sturdy and peaceful. He idea that
words were extra effective than preventing, and he become
geared up to die for what he believed in. Rizal's stories and ideas
are still important nowadays. They assist us understand who we
are as Filipinos and why we stand up for what is right. He
confirmed us that being brave and status up for equity could
make a large difference. By calling Rizal our country's big hero,
we are saying thanks for everything he did to make the
Philippines a better place. We're also promising to keep his spirit
alive by using being type, smart, and courageous, similar to him.
B.) Was it a free choice? How or how not?
The idea of nominating Dr. Jose Rizal as the national hero of the Philippines
wasn't necessarily a free choice. It passed off at some point in time while the
Philippines turned into a country under American rule. The Americans thought Rizal's
thoughts about approximately freedom matched theirs, so they made him the main
hero in record books. But there were different crucial humans in Philippine history,
like Andres Bonifacio and Emilio Aguinaldo. Still, Rizal has become the top hero
because the Americans favored his ideas. So, picking Rizal as the country hero
became stimulated by what the Americans wanted and what changed into
happening at that time. It wasn't a totally unfastened desire, but it is now everyday
for many Filipinos as part of their records.
C.) Rizal is an impressive guy. But consider other countries'
national heroes. How many are poets or writers instead of
military or political leaders? (examples: Napoleon,
Churchill, Frederick the Great, etc., -all military/political).
Would you still consider Rizal, our National hero? Why?
Dr. Jose Rizal is a hero in the Philippines, even though he wasn't a soldier like heroes in
other countries. He turned into an author and philosopher, and his phrases had a big effect.
Rizal wrote important books, "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo," which showed how awful
matters were beneath Spanish rule. His stories made people want to fight for freedom, but he
believed in doing it peacefully. While different heroes are probably acknowledged for
combating battles or leading countries, Rizal's manner became one-of-a-kind. He believed in the
use of words in place of guns. Even when faced with hard instances, like being put in prison, he
stayed calm and persisted in speaking out for what he believed was proper. Rizal isn't always
only a hero because of his writing; he represents the spirit of Filipino human beings. He
cherished his wife. S . And desired to make it better for absolutely everyone. By honoring Rizal
as our countrywide hero, we're saying that we value peace, schooling, and justice values he
stood for.
D.) (If Rizal was chosen/nominated by the group) Give
reasons to prove why we should consider Rizal as our
National hero.
Dr. Jose Rizal is our national hero for many good reasons. Firstly, he was really smart and
wrote books that showed how things were unfair under Spanish rule. His books made
Filipinos want to stand up for their rights and dignity. Also, Rizal believed in peaceful ways to
make things better. Even when he was treated badly, he never gave up on his belief in
education and talking things out. Rizal's books are still important today. They help us
understand who we are as Filipinos and why we fight for what's right. He also cared a lot
about helping others, showing kindness and care as a doctor. Lastly, Rizal sacrificed his life for
the Filipino cause. His bravery and selflessness inspire us to be better and to fight for what
we believe in. In simple words, Dr. Jose Rizal is our national hero because he was smart, kind,
and brave. He wrote important books, believed in peaceful ways, cared for others, and
sacrificed everything for our country. That's why he will always be our hero.
