Reflection title-" Jose Rizal: National Hero" (What Can I Learn and Imitate)

Gigante, Limar Angelo P.

Studying Dr. Jose P. Rizal's life can be tremendously motivating. The story is not simply an
ordinary Filipino's story, but rather the extraordinary story of a multi-talented and brilliant Filipino who
yearned for the independence and peace of his own land at all costs. He was a singular illustration of a
multifaceted intellect blessed with a variety of divinely bestowed talents. He was a guy of many
occupations too many to list them all. Yet, he was more than just a professional; he was a martyr and a
hero for his nation and his people. He even demonstrated the power of the pen. Because of his writing
prowess, he was able to persuade everyone to seek justice, bringing down an empire. Words fly around
and stir up emotions in every man. As the old saying goes, with great power comes great responsibility.
It had the potential to be both a double-edged blade and a heart-healer.

In addition to these, I learned a lot about how to live my life appropriately. Let our parents
always know how much we love and respect them. Despite the numerous sacrifices and hours of labor,
they must put in, parents just want the best for their kids. Children must express their thanks by treating
adults with love and respect in return. True Parents are frequently observed giving advice through
protracted sermons, but this is merely to demonstrate how they genuinely care about their children's
futures. All these lessons aim to help kids become better people. In exchange, the offspring must uphold
the reputation and lead honorable lives. In one of his many stories, Rizal showed this godly attribute.

Stand up for what is right without fear. Make a stand if you are certain that you are right. Set
your feet firmly down. Rizal took that action. He persisted despite the threats from the Spanish
authorities and eventually disclosed their sins in his novels. What I took away from his life was that he
did not cower under the overwhelming force of the Spaniards; rather, he let himself shine and spoke out
on the problem that he and his nation were facing. There might be a fierce enthusiasm and commitment
to freeing a nation that deserves freedom. In my studies, I also noticed that Rizal never yearned for
political power but rather acted as a catalyst who quietly accomplished tremendous things in his own
manner. He continued to fight for freedom to the very end of his life, and even though it cost him his
life, he gave it his all. He carries out his actions with dedication and intention. He gives everything his full
effort. Similar to this, I should and must genuinely give my all to whatever endeavor or objective I am
working on in order to succeed. I'll receive prizes for a job well done in the future when it sees fit.
