1. WET GRANULATOR – GH-1

The Wet Granulator Type – GH-1 has been designed for the production of

granulates of various sizes from moistened powder. It can be used to reduce slugs

for reprocessing reject tablets.

The unit operates on the oscillating rotor principle. The granules compress through a

sieve of a predetermined size. The performed granules are normally collected on

trays prior to removal to the drying oven, the Stainless Steel Rotor (6) measures

164mm long x 75mm OD has four blades and may be readily removed for cleaning.

Using two hand wheels 6 & 7 provided for this purpose. It has an oscillation angle of

900 and a speed range of 0 – 410 Rpm.

When connecting the Wet Granulator it is very important to screw tightly the 4 nuts

provided for a fixing type. Before starting the operation the following instruction have

to be complied with.

When inserting the Rotor Assembly (6) the Pressure Spindle (8) Small Hand Wheel

(10) should be screw on only enough to make any axial movement of the rotor

impossible. Then the Big Hand Wheel (11) has to towards Spindle Nut (7) in order to

hold the rotor in its adjusted position.

side of the Stretching Handle (5) have to be loosened only so far that the stretching

handle can be pulled out.

The Sieves (12) has then to be placed by inserting its holders into the slit of the

Stretching Handle (5) then the Ratchet Pin (9) are tightened only so much that the

Handle (5) can be easily turned by hand. This is necessary to stretch the sieve

carefully until it placed smoothly against its holder.

ATTENTION:

It is very important the sieve not stretched too much. It has to

fit loosely into the place. If the sieve tightened too much it

wears out too fast.
