YOUR MEDICAID COVERAGE

COULD BE ENDING?

At the start of the pandemic, Congress enacted the Families First

Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), which included a requirement that
Medicaid programs keep people continuously enrolled through the end
of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE). The continuous
enrollment period has ended and millions of people are at risk of losing
their insurance.

YOU MAY LOSE YOUR MEDICAID

Do you or a family member currently have health coverage through
Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program CHIP)/KidCare?
Take steps now to find out if you can continue your Medicaid coverage
or if you are eligible for a health plan through the Health Insurance
Marketplace.

SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO TO PREPARE:

Immediately open all envelopes you receive in the mail from DCF ACCESS Mail
Center. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THOSE WITH A YELLOW STRIPE.

Read your mail for Medicaid notices. Open and respond right away to anything
from Medicaid, CHIP or DCF

BUSQUE ESPECIALMENTE LOS SOBRES CON UNA RAYA AMARILLA.

Revisa tu correo por si recibes noticias de Medicaid. Responde

inmediatamente a cualquier requerimiento de Medicaid, CHIP o DCF.
