INTRODUCTION

In order for others to understand you without any problems, it is important that you write
English grammar and, above all, speak correctly. Actually, there are very important places.
For example, English grammar skills are highly valued by people working in Spanish-
speaking companies in the UK or US; Therefore, learning this part of the language is very
useful if you want to see what it is like to work there. The difference between getting a
high paying government job and not being able to further develop your knowledge.

Correction: I was driving home when I hear the news.


Explanation: the affirmative statement is subject+was+verb (base form +ing)

2. They was exercising when they see the accident.


Correction: They were exercising when they saw the accident.
Explanation: To talk about an action that is interrupted by another action, use the
simple past tense and the continuous tense together.

3. I ll buy a new car if, I have enough money.


Correction: If I have enough money, I ´ll buy a new car.
Explanation: It consists of an if clause and a main clause. Use the simple present form
in the if clause and omit to / will.

Explanation: Use the should (the correct form) modal verbs to offer advice and make
suggestions.

Explanation: The correct form for negative suggestion is might not.

actions.

Explanation: The correct form is had been+ verb (base form+ ing).

cluse states the probable or certain result.

Explanation: The future tense can also be transformed into the present tense, present
perfect tense, or present perfect tense.

Correction: If you drink and drive, you could get into a car accident.

Explanation: The if clause states a possible future situation or condition, the correct
form is you should+ have.
CONCLUSION

Correct language is important for English proficiency and self-confidence. Knowing


grammar prevents mistakes in English. Grammar is sometimes more important. If you are
going to an English-speaking country for a job interview, the employer will be interested in
your English and writing skills. Spelling mistakes cut sales in the UK by 50%, so employers
are looking for talented typists. Good pronunciation demonstrates language skills and
attention to detail. This is also important if you are planning to study abroad. Knowing
English grammar can impact your college experience.
