• Counseling is a service that is available to individuals from
all walks of life.
• The clientele of counseling includes people from diverse
backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses, and
counselors must be aware of and respect these
differences.
• Counselors must be aware of the specific needs and
concerns of their clients. They should be prepared to offer
support and guidance in a non-judgmental and empathetic
manner.
• Counselor should be aware of the ethical and legal issues
related to working with clients, such as confidentiality,
informed consent.
• A survey will be conducted by each group to selected Grade 7 JHS
students (15 participants).
• The purpose of the survey is to determine the counseling needs of
the SHS students of FEBIHS.
• Each group will be given a copy of the needs assessment tool to be
used for conducting the survey.
• After the data gathering, each group will consolidate the results of
the survey and will come up with a summary and recommendation
on the prevalent counseling needs of the respondents.
• Each group will present their results next session.
