OFFSITES CHAPTER VI - Piping

As a rule, lube oil lines are insulated (except, in some cases, light stocks, when possible by climatic
conditions) and steam traced.

Wax lines are insulated and traced, either with hot water or with steam (to be discussed within the
scope of each contract).

The particularly viscous character of some products leads to laminar flow and thus to
comparatively high pressure drops.
