History of Germany

The territory of today´s Germany has been inhabited since ancient times, but many centuries had to
pass with numerous inmigrations, invasion and conquest for the natonial particularities of the
germans to take shape as a state it did not exist until the founding of the german empire in 1871.
Until that time, Germany had been made up of hundreds of principalities and countries.

Days of Guatemala
 Dolores Strike
It is a traditional demonstration carried out by the students of the university of San Carlos de
Guatemala, every year during lent and wich takes a its main day the Friday of sorrows from
which it takes its name.
 Marimba Day
On November 8 of 1978, the congress of the republic, wich declares the marimba as a national
instrument and declarates February 20 as the day celebration.
 Day of the Guatemala revolution
Every October 20, Guatemala commemorates its 1944 revolution, led at that time by students
and workers who overthrew the facto gournment the Federico.
 Day Of Race
Day that commemorates the arrival to America of the navigator Cristopher columbs in 1492.
