The Monthly Saving Note is designed to be a fixed-income instrument with a tenor of 120 days. The instrument seeks to provide a crucial lifeline in
the form of financing to commodity traders (local and exporters) and ensure that these traders can fulfil their contracts. Whilst also providing
investors, irrespective of their income level, an opportunity to contribute to the development of the commodities ecosystem, diversify their
portfolio and benefit from the comparatively favourable returns available in the commodities market.

Background

Due to Nigeria’s continuous inflationary environment, which erodes savings, it is imperative that investors explore alternative modes of saving
towards their goals at a moderate to low risk while providing a competitive return rather than leaving it in a bank account where it’s accrued
a negligible return.

This product is designed to allow salary earners and business owners to put aside a portion of their income at a comparatively competitive rate
while contributing to the development of the Nation by providing capital to SMEs and MSMEs, particularly those in the commodities eco-system.

The net proceeds from each issue will be used to support the aggregation and trade of commodities by small and medium commodities traders
or as may otherwise be specified in the Pricing Supplement of the individual notes.
