COMPOTEC® CHEMCHLOR is a composite hose designed for the transfer of
highly aggressive and dangerous chemical products.

The construction of this composite hose family is characterized by the use of

special patented PTFE and NANOTEC® films.

The inner part, in contact with the conveyed fluid, is made of NANOTEC® film.
All the different layers are precisely overlapped on each other with predefined
angles and, subsequently, compressed between two spirals, one internal and one
external. This construction gives to COMPOTEC® hoses lightness, flexibility and
the ability to operate at certain pressures and temperatures that fully satisfy the
requirements of chemical industries that deals with highly aggressive chemicals
and their transport needs with truck and railway tanks.

FEATURES & APPLICATIONS - COMPOTEC® CHEMCHLOR is manufactured in

accordance with the standard EN 13765:2018 (BS 5842:1980) and the guidelines
NAHAD 600/2005. Extremely flexible and easy to handle, the COMPOTEC®
CHEMCHLOR hose is specifically designed for the transfer of highly aggressive
and corrosive chemical products, such as: all derivatives of chlorine (e.g.
hydrochloric acid) and other acids with similar characteristics (e.g. nitric acid and
sulfuric acid),under pressure or suction.

It is also used for Outdoor or Indoor application, for the transfer from tank trucks,
rail trucks, loading or unloading of silos and on pumps and process machinery.
The unique Heavy Duty construction permits to use it also for Ship-to-Ship or
Ship-to-Dock transfer, in Docks or Ports, and in general for the more severe
industrial and marine applications that require higher operating pressures and
absolute durability and safety guarantee . All the hoses are 100% resistant to
aromatics and can be used both, for suction & delivery. Vacuum rating is 0,9 bar,
according to the EN ISO 7233 method B.

Electrical continuity is achieved by its two wires bonded to end fittings and
ferrules and this system helps to dissipate the electrostatic charges accumulated.
The assembled hose’s electrical resistance is less than 100 Ohm, as required by
EN ISO 8031:2020, 4.8. On request it is possibile to manufacture the hose in
accordance to the Directive 2014/34/UE ATEX, with special black antistatic
conductive external cover, the grounding cable, and the relative documentation.

This hose is also available with a PTFE coated cover fabric, in case any
aggressive chemical product could come in contact with the external cover.
The first internal fabric of the hose is the exclusive NANOTEC® film, a special
CROSSLINKED film in Virgin PTFE, which guarantees the most absolute
resistance to any type of conventional acid and “ZERO” porosity.
The internal wire is made of AISI316L steel, coated with a layer of high
thickness light blue color FEP (PTFE).
Available in 40 mt coils from 3/4” to 8”, 25 mt length up to 12".
