A. Manufacturer details

A.1 General information

Dear customer: Thanks for choosing AirBlue.
The device you have acquired has been manufactured using maximum care, with carefully selected
high quality components, assembled according to state-of-the art construction techniques trying to comply
with function and performance requirements, to guarantee reliability in our products.
This user and maintenance manual is an important part of the machine, we therefore suggest
keeping it safe and at hand for referring to it when necessary.
This manual helps with installation, safe use of the device, and with maintenance guidelines necessary
for keeping the machine in perfect working conditions for a long time.
This manual is in compliance with European Parliament Directive 2006/42/CE and May 17th,
2006 Council, pertaining to machines, which in turn modifies directive 95/16/CE (recast).

All figures in this manual are indicative

B. General description
The controller is composed of servomechanism card, command / control element (PLC) and remote
operator panel.
L’ASC2015 is installed inside the electric panel, it functions even without the operator panel.
The servomechanism card powers and controls the equipment (mechanisms).
The command / control element acquires the data (temperature, pressure and states) and controls in
output the servomechanism card.
The remote operator panel displays the measured quantities, the states, the alarm conditions and
allows for settings at the “user” level, as well as at the “manufacturer” level; the operator panel is therefore
the user “interface element”.

Figura 1 - Operator panel

EN
5
C. Operational descriptions
The operational connections and relative configuration of the servomechanism card and of the
command and control element are activities that pertain to the manufacturer and related technical
organization/assistance.

The controller allows for a functioning of the machine in three operational modes:
 STAND ALONE
 COORDINATED
 COORDINATED with external PLC (Slave Modbus)

These modes are set in the factory

C.2 Stand Alone Mode

Each machine functions independently from the others.

C.3 Coordinated Mode

The machines are LAN connected between each other and automatically exchange information,
therefore each has its own network address (Net Address).

C.3.1 Attribution of addresses

The single addresses are:
 Net Address 1 (Master)
 Net Address 2 (Slave 1)
 Net Address 3 (Slave 2)
The machine with “Net Address 1” always corresponds to the MASTER.
The machines with “Net Address 2-3” always correspond to the SLAVE.

C.3.2 Set-point attribution.

The different Set-points are attributed to each machine:
 Machine 1 - Set-point 1 or Set-point 2 or Set-point 3
 Machine 2 - Set-point 1 or Set-point 2 or Set-point 3
 Machine 3 - Set-point 1 or Set-point 2 or Set-point 3
The MASTER PLC establishes which set-point to attribute to each machine, in virtue of rotation
Rotation occurs according to the time set by the “Machine rotation period” parameter.
This parameter is set in the factory at 168 hours.
If the LAN is disconnected, the thermostat of the equipment room will display on the PLC an alarm
named ALLARME COM and each machine will start functioning autonomously with the then-current set-
points :
This condition EXCLUDES the rotation of the machines.
Attached is an example of coordinated functioning.

C.4 Coordinated Mode with external PLC (SLAVE MODBUS)

The machines are LAN connected between each other and exchange information between the PLC
on-board the machine (ASC2015) and a remote PLC.
This mode allows for different configurations based on the requests of the customer.

EN
7
C.5 Wellness Mode
If required, the controller may be equipped with WELLNESS function that allows the operator to turn
the air conditioner mode "comfort" for 30 minutes, leading automatically to the set point temperature to 27 °
C.
To enable and disable advance mode WELLNESS, press the ▼ ▲ buttons on the panel user
interface.
