Write a composition on one of the following topics. Your answer should be

between 350 to 450 words in length.

1. Describe a view by the river.

2. Write a story based on one of the following:

Either a). The last candle was burning steadily away.

Or b). She was in a state of shock when the police walked in.

3. Write about a recent development in your area which has had a

significant effect on your community.

4. A party which ended in disaster.

5. How relevant is career guidance for school children?

6. An embarrassing moment at school.

7. The rumour.

Section B – 20 marks

8. A new headmaster who has just been appointed at your school wishes
to find out as much as possible about the school. As a senior student,
compile a report for the headmaster highlighting areas you would like
improved using notes given below. You may add any relevant points of
your own.
