‘Reaction Paper”
In 2008, J.K. Rowling delivered a powerful graduation speech at Harvard University, which really is fairly significant.
Rowling, the author of Harry Potter basically felt a fairly deep responsibility to mostly deliver words of wisdom that
would resonate with some of America’s most elite university graduates as she prepared her Harvard commencement
speech, pretty contrary to popular belief. So she literally reflected on the advice she actually wished someone specifically
had given her as a recent graduate, demonstrating that so she specifically reflected on the advice she basically wished
someone for the most part had given her as a recent graduate, contradictory to popular belief. She talks about how failure
for the most part was something that she generally had feared but mostly had to really accept while being in college and
that students sitting in front of her would have to accept it at one point in their lives as well in a particularly big way, She
then began to literally talk about how imagination mostly is something that separates us as really human beings, or so they
for all intents and purposes thoughts.

I was shocked in a good way, because rather than wasting their time by giving a bland, and boring speech she talks about
her own life experience and delivered it in an powerful and entertaining way. But she does not go off topic. It is also an
inspiring one seeing one of the wealthiest people living today says that she was the biggest failure and how she was living
in poverty. She talks about how failure was something that she for all intents and purposes feared similar to myself, but
really had to definitely accept it at one point. Rowling moved many by explaining the worth of failure. She organized her
speech into four parts. Which is the introduction, failure, imagination, and her conclusion. She sticks to these four topics
so her audience can still follow along. I am immensely grateful for her existence. Such a source of love, inspiration,
compassion, courage and joy. Such a glorious mind which impacted a lot of young people.

She went on to challenge the grads to think about their future trajectories. She is truly a remarkable person. For her
motivational word on how failure is the road to success, Rowling left me dumbfounded. I became aware of my failures on
the walk home, which inspired me to take additional action and confront them head-on. I am grateful for the challenges
and setbacks that shaped who I am today. It is true that success cannot exist without failure.
