Portrait Commission Info

Step 1: Choosing a size

Small: 12x15 on 14x17 paper, portrait will have a 1 inch border surrounding. Product will
be delivered flat in a reinforced cardboard envelope. Starting at $250.

Large: 16x20 on 18x24 paper, portrait will have 1 inch border on long sides and 2 inch
border on short sides. Product will be delivered rolled in a hard cardboard tube with
protective sheet to prevent smudging. Starting at $325.

Step 2: Choosing the right photo

Reference image must be high quality and not blurry, able to be cropped to vertical
8x10 image from the shoulders-up. Cropping and/or converting to black and white can
be done by artist.
Neutral expressions or gentle smiles are recommended. The background of the image
will not be drawn.

Step 3: Quote

Please submit your high quality reference image to jogriffinarts@outlook.com, along

with any specifications or requested details for the final product. You will receive a quote
based on selected size, shipping cost, and estimated time for completion.

Step 4: Payment

Full payment is required up front. Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle may be used. The invoice and
payment information will be sent when your commission is accepted.

If for any reason you would like to cancel your commission, the payment will be fully
refunded as long as I have done one hour of work or less. Other refunds may be granted on
a case by case basis. I reserve the right to retain any or all of the payment upon
cancelation as compensation for time spent.
In the unlikely scenario in which I must cancel the commission, your payment will be
refunded in full.

Step 5: Delivery

Please allow up to 4 weeks for completion and delivery. An approximate completion

date will be sent with the invoice.

Shipping costs will be included in the invoice. USPS Ground Advantage Shipping with
tracking will be automatically selected unless USPS Priority Mail is preferred.
