Introduction:

The focus of this action research is to assess the impact of the I CARE (I Count and Read Every Day)
program on enhancing the literacy and numeracy skills of Grade 3 pupils at Sisay Elementary School.

skill development in both literacy and numeracy.

Research Objectives:

1. Evaluate the effectiveness of the I CARE program in improving the literacy skills of Grade 3
pupils.

3. Identify the students' engagement and attitudes towards daily counting and reading
