The Central University of Jammu came into
existence on 8th August 2011 with the appointment
on
of the first Vice-Chancellor. It was established by Sustainable Development in
the Central Universities Act, 2009. Presently the
university is offering various Integrated UG-PG, PG
Chemical and Material Sciences
and Ph.D. programs in Sciences, Social Sciences, (SDCMS)
and Humanities. The campus of Central University
of Jammu is located at Rahya-Suchani in District
Samba, which is at an approximate distance of 25
4-5th April, 2024
Km from Jammu city.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Chemistry and Chemical
Sciences is under the School of Basic and Applied
Sciences. The Department was established in 2016
with five year Integrated B.Sc.(Hons.)-M.Sc.- Organized By
Chemistry program and the Ph.D program was Department of Chemistry and Chemical
started in 2018-2019 academic year. The faculty
