EXERCISES 1
(Researcher Chronicles: Unlocking the Wisdom within)

Objectives: To provide students, with the opportunity to learn from successful

researchers on campus, gain insights into their research journeys, and reflect on
the qualities of a good researcher.
INTERVIEW PROPER

1. Easiest Part of Doing Research. “ Can you share what you found to be
the easiest part of conducting your research?

The easiest part would more or less be on analyzing the data gathered
and doing the paper since all the information is prepared and will just need
understanding.

2. Hardest Part of Doing Research. “On the flip side, what was the most
challenging part of your research study?”

The hardest part would be data gathering since it requires time and much
presence of mind. Due to the fact that the appropriate and necessary information
must be taken down and observed properly , including the researchers' proper
behavior towards the research and the subjects . Moreover, time can be a
problem mostly there are other things to be done besides the qualitative research
paper.

3. Challenges Encountered and Overcoming them. “ Could you describe

specific challenges you encountered during the research process and how
you overcame them?

The challenges that I’ve encountered during the process of my research

were lack of time management, lack of resources, and data gathering procedure.
These challenges really bombarded me to finish my manuscript ahead of time.
Therefore, in order to overcome this problem, researchers should know how to
treasure time and know your optimum priority. With this, we can ensure that
everything will be crafted with the exact duration of time given.

4. What it takes to complete the Thesis. “In your opinion, what qualities or
efforts are essential to successfully complete a thesis.

Patience and optimism have significant role in completing the thesis.

Before completing the thesis, research should undergone rounds, surveys,
defenses, and etc. This process needs so much patience due to the changes of
time and place; and necessary also to be optimistic since this holds our future
and no matter what struggles we have faced, no need to move backward but
rather look forward.

5. Advice for New Researchers. “Considering your new experience, what

advice would you give to us, new researchers?

Don’t be too complacent and learn how to value time, because the
committee members of your thesis aren’t available all the time.

enhance my preparation in conducting research. I am now ready to face the
challenges in crafting a research. Based on the interviewee's answer on the
challenges that he encountered, time management is significant in conducting a
research. Therefore, it's really essential to value even a minute upon making my
research.

Additionally, the interviewee highlighted the significance of staying

adaptable in the research process. I intend to incorporate flexibility into my
research plan, allowing room for adjustments based on unexpected outcome or
dilemmas. This adaptive mindset, as emphasized by the interviewee, can lead to
more robust and insightful outcomes.

Furthermore, I recognize the importance of ongoing collaboration and

communication with fellow researchers. I plan to actively engage in discussions,
seek feedback, and participate in collaborative endeavors to broaden my
perspective. This shared learning environment within the school's research
community will be instrumental in honing my skills and refining my research
approach.

In essence, the suggestions and advice from the interviewee will serve as
guiding principles, shaping a more informed and strategic path toward successful
research.
