ASSIGNMENT

INSTRUCTION
1. Students are required to find TWO (2) type of child care centres around the world /
other country from the website.
2. Analyze, conclude, and give recommendation.
3. Report your assignment on typed paper with the cover.
4. Mode: Group (4-5 students per group)
5. Date of Submission: based on the date given in class.

QUESTION / TASK
1. Find resources on ONE (1) nursery and ONE (1) kindergarten program from other
country through the website.
2. Describe the information founded.
3. Compare the information exposed from the website with the application of nursery &
kindergarten program in Malaysia.
4. Give suggestion or recommendation to nursery & kindergarten owners and teachers
on how to provide appropriate program for each centre.
5. Write out your report based on the following:
 Introduction – what is nursery & kindergarten.
 Content – Explaination/Description & comparison in detail.
 Conclusion – suggestion/recommendation.
6. You need to present by preparing the PPT slides;
 Introduction
 About the nursery with pictures
 About the kindergarten with pictures
 Comparison with Malaysian early childhood curriculum for both, nursery and
kindergarten
7. Write out your report based on the following:
 Introduction – what is nursery & kindergarten.
 Content – Explaination/Description & comparison in detail (pictures with
description).
 Conclusion – suggestion/recommendation on the approach used at the
centre.
