AutoCAD Requirements

• DWG files must have only one view and that is the model view.
• All units in drawing that are to be represented as addressable/controllable units/symbols in the AutroMaster
must be represented as a Block Reference in the DWG. Examples are detectors, doors, cameras, horns.
• The symbols must have one attribute that is used to match with the tagname of the corresponding physical
unit. If the attribute is named "UnitName", the AutroMaster can process it automatically without any further
user interaction.
• Small objects not relevant to the Floor plan/GA Plan, like shower heads, hinges etc., should not be included
in the DWG or should be put on their own clearly marked layers.
• All objects potentially relevant to the Floor plan/GA Plan, but otherwise not necessary to address as symbols
(such as furniture) is to be put on their own clearly marked layers.

Known issues

• If server and client are running on two different systems and not connected to an external time server, the
clock on server and client can drift apart and cause error messages. The workaround is to install and run NTP
client and server to keep the two clocks synchronized.
• It is not possible to configure a group that sets configured AutroGuards with Heat class C to Assist or Assist
to C.
• Importing very large and complex DWG files can consume a lot of memory and CPU, leading to a less
responsive client.
• Adding many floors and buildings in GA-Plan config view can consume a lot of memory on the client.
Restarting the AutroMaster Client after configuring the GA-Plan will solve this issue.
• It is not possible to change performance class of the BG-201 in AutroMaster V.
• Defined groups are not stored in Master Backup. After a reinstallation, groups need to be defined again.
• Class settings for detectors on Autroprime is not supported.
• If the initialization of the BSL-310 module fails during the start-up of AutroSafe the BSL-310 module will be
indicated as disabled. The fix for this problem is to run a new initialization (restart) of AutroSafe.
• Older software versions of Autroprime can encounter communication problems when connected to
AutroMaster. We strongly recommend upgrading Autroprime to the latest version available.
• Uploading a large master config in a system with an installed configuration can make the system
unresponsive for a few minutes. Deleting the database is recommended before uploading a config.
• When storing reports as PDF from the print menu, you need to add the .PDF extension to the filename
yourself.
• On certain combinations of PCs and screens, you may need to reboot after disconnecting and reconnecting
the HDMI cable in order to get a picture on the screen.
• Deleting the configuration for a large system in a live AutroMaster V can leave the system busy cleaning up
the database for 20 minutes. Fault and alarms may be delayed during the clean-up.
