Pan: Alt + MMB drag

Orbitting: Alt + LMB drag


Zoom: Alt + RMB drag

To view list of objects in scene: open outliner


View its attributes in channel logs or ATTRIBUTE EDITOR

To alter primitive: MODELLING TOOLKIT or POLY MODELLING SHELF

• Tools in Toolbox
- scale tool

Objects components: in COMPONENTS MODE

• Poly object is made of three company:


- vertices
- edges
- faces

~ quickly swap between them by holding right mouse button

Shift + click multiple components to transform them all at once or marquee select
them by dragging the mouse

From marking menu you can go back to OBJECT MODE which turns the object green
again. This let us transform the object again in whole

Go back to component mode to change its shape again

• To help with exact positioning, turn the MESH WIREFRAME on in SHADOW.

Shift + left click drag to clone

• To Merge:
- Mesh > BOOLEAN > Union

- To rotate at a 15° angle: press J + LMB for exact 90° or 45°

To add edge rings: in attributes editor (caps divisions)

- DEFORMERS: they deform geometry.


- SOFT SELECTION: press B while vertex is selected

• To make multiple Duplicates at a time:


- Edit > Duplicate Special > Option Box

• To change an objects Pivot: press D
