Albert Einstein

A kid who was born with big head and didn’t speak until he was 4 years old. A
brilliant student in math and science didn’t get a relevant job for more than 10
years. A scientist who was a clerk in a patent office, studied during his free time
and became a Nobel prize winner. Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in
UIm, Germany. When he was born, his family was scared that something was
wrong with him. Because he had very large and misshapen head, but fortunately
within the first few weeks the shape of his head became normal. Their worries
didn’t stop there. He had speech difficulties as a child, which led some people to
think he might have learning difficulties. When he was five years old, his father
showed him a simple pocket compass and Einstein was fascinated. That was the
beginning of his obsession with science. At school, Einstein was a good student.
His grades were high and he was near the top of his class, but mainly because of
math and science. When Einstein was only 10 years old, he started educating
himself. By the age of 15 he mastered calculus. But he hated the disciplined and
rigid style of the teachers. So he dropped out of school at the age of 15 and left
Germany to avoid military service. His parents were worrying that Einstein
became a school dropout with no employable skills and not very promising future.
Albert Einstein did not quit his education. At 16. he applied to the Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology and believe it or not, he failed the entrance exam. Albert
Einstein failed an exam. Well, he wasn't prepared. He excelled at math and physics,
but his knowledge on subjects other than that was not good. So he failed the exam
and had to take it a second time. Finally after graduating, he couldn’t get a job in
academia for almost a decade. But Einstein needed money to survive, so he got a
job as a clerk at the Swiss Patent Office in Bern. The job was mostly mindless and
very easy for Einstein. He liked the job because he had so much free time to study
and research while working there, and he developed his most important theories.
While working his boring job, he developed the theory of relativity and the world's
most famous equation. Einstein was nominated for a Nobel Prize, but did not
receive it until 11 years later. Albert Einstein became the most influential physicist
of the 20th century. His research changed the world. He wrote hundreds of books
and was also a great philosopher. Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world.
Steve Jobs
A college dropout who launched Apple company at the age of 21, became a
millionaire at age 23. A founder who was fired from his own brand at age 30, lost
his 10 years of hard work. He started from zero again and made a comeback as
Apple CEO and created a history. Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in
San Francisco, California. He was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs, a working-class
couple from Mountain View, California. Jobs was a bright child and showed an
early interest in electronics and computers. He dropped out of college after 1
semester, but he continued to learn skills of his interest. In 1976, Jobs and his
friend Steve Wozniak founded Apple Computer in Jobs garage. They found Apple
computer when Jobs was 21 years old. By the time, he turned 23, he was a
millionaire. In 10 years, Apple went from just two people in a garage into a $2
billion company. In 1983, Jobs recruited PepsiCo CEO John Sculley to become the
CEO of Apple. In 1985, Jobs was pushed out of his own company. At age 30, I was
out and very publicly out. What had been the focus of my entire adult life was
gone, and it was devastating. The following year Steve started another computer
company called Next. Steve Jobs bought a computer division from George Lucas
for $10 Million renamed it as Pixar. He later sold Pixar to Disney for $1.4 billion,
which also made him the largest Disney shareholder. On the other side, with the
success of Microsoft, Apple was on a verge of bankruptcy. In 1977, Apple acquired
Next and Jobs returned to the company as its CEO. Steve Jobs quickly turned
around Apple and led the company to renewed success with products such as the
iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad. He felt technology should be beautiful and easy to use.
He drove his company to new heights creating the greatest corporate success of our
time. I didn’t see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from apple was best
thing that could have ever happened to me. You can’t connect the dots looking
forward. You can only connect them looking backwards. Apple went on to became
the first trillion dollar company in the world. Steve Jobs died 2011, at the age of
56, from complications of pancreatic cancer. Your time is limited, don’t waste it
living someone else’s life.
Justin Bieber
Posting videos on Youtube changed the life of a little kid who was talented in
music.

At the age of 13, he was already a teen sensation and at the age of 16,he was
millionaire. The early fame and luxury was a blessing in disguise for the young
singer, songwriter. Despite the challenges, he stood tall, kept making music and
achieved massive success. Justin Bieber was born on March 1, 1994, in Stratford,
Ontoria, Canada. He was raised by a single mother who was just 18 years old when
she gave birth to him. He grew up in a middle class household and displayed a
passion for music from a young age. Justin’s mom started a Youtube channel
called kidrauhl. She posted videos of Justin singing, just so his family and relatives
could see. But they were surprised by the responses they received. Strangers from
many part of the world started to watch his videos and became his fans. One day,
he caught the attention of talent manager Scooter Braun, who started supporting
him. Justin’s family faced financial difficulties, and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia,
to pursue his music career. He endured countless relections from record labels
early on. Justin and Scooter Braun reached out to industry professionals to get a
chance. Usher, a Gramm-winning artist, finally signed him. In 2009, Justin
released his debut single, ‘’One Time, ‘’which quickly gained popularity. His
debut album, ‘’My World, ‘’was released later that year and became a massive
success. Justin faced criticism and skepticism from music critics who doubted his
staying power. Despite the negativity, he continued to work tirelessly on his music
that made him a teen sensation, known for hits like ‘’Baby’’ and ‘’Never Say
Never. ‘’From then on, he was unstoppable. Justin’s life was often under intense
scrutiny, with his every move scrutinized by media. He faced personal challenges,
including some legal issues and controversies. Justin opened up about his struggles
with mental health and the pressures of fame. He sought therapy and counseling to
manage his well-being. He kept bouncing back after setbacks. Irrespective of the
situations, Justin’s commitment to his craft and his fans remained unwavering. He
started his journey on Youtube as a novice and today he has millions of fan base
and his music videos have been watched over 140 billion times on Youtube. Justin
also used his platform for philanthropic efforts, supporting charitable causes. His
story serves as an inspiration, demonstrating with talent, commitment, and
resilience.

Kobe Bryant
Renowned basketball icon who spent his entire NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers. Known for
his exceptional scoring ability and competitive spirit, leading his team to numerous championships.
Earned widespread respect for his work ethic and commitment to the game of basketball.
Kobe was born on August 23, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Joe and Pam Bryant. When
Kobe Bryant was 12 years old, he went to a summer basketball camp and he was about to give up
basketball. Because he felt like a failure. He was playing against some of the most talented players
who outplayed him. Kobe Bryant did not score a single point ”Zero. That’s the number of points I
scored the entire summer.” He was so disappointed in himself that he was questioning whether
basketball was really for him. His father was a retired NBA player, so Kobe felt like he was
disappointing the entire family. But fortunately, he learned that Michael Jordan had been cut from his
high school team as a freshman but still succeeded later on. So, Kobe didn’t quit, he decided to take
on his challenges the same way Michael Jordan did. “I would channel my failure as a fuel to keep my
competitive fire burning. I learned everything about the game.” “The history, the players, the
fundamentals. I was just determined to never have a summer of 0 again. ”So in high school years,
every day he would go to the gym at 5:00 AM and would not leave until 7:00 PM. Hours before his
teammate showed up for practice, Kobe was already there, practicing by himself. He forced himself
to make 400 shots in every single practice session and all of his hard work paid off. He entered the
NBA directly from high school and won 5 NBA championships. Kobe Bryant played his entire career
with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was the 2nd youngest NBA player in history. In 2008 he was voted
the NBA’s Most Valuable Player. He went on to win 2 gold medals with the USA Men’s basketball
team. All of his hard work led Kobe to become one of the greatest basketball players of all time. He
played with the Lakers 20 seasons before his retirement in 2016. He became a legend and it was not
only his talent, it was his willpower to not quit and practice every single day. He even won an Oscar
for best Animated Short Film in 2018. But sadly, a big tragedy happened. Kobe Bryant and his 13-
year-old daughter died in a helicopter crash. The world is still shaken and in grief. Kobe Bryant will
be remembered as a basketball legend. He’ll go down as one of the best to ever play the game. He
was far more than a basketball giant. He was a hero, who was and will be an inspiration for many.
