    Philippine trade union.
    ▪ Union Obrera Democratica (UOD)- Advocates for Wage and Labor
    strikes.
    ▪ Union Obrera Democratica de Felipinas (UODF)- Continuing UOD’s
    work, led the country’s first celebration of Labor Day on May 1, 1903
    ▪ Congreso Obrero de Filipinas (COF)- Ushered a new era of Trade
    Unionism. Achieved Stability and Social legitimacy, heightened labor
    struggles, expansion if memberships.
    ▪ Katipunan ng mga Anak pawis ng Pilipinas (KAP)- ushered the
    Philippine Labor Movements’ radical/leftist tradition
    ▪ Paktido Komunista ng Pilipinas (PKP)- legal political arm of the
    workers. Merged with Philippine Social Party also a peasant
    movement.
