(Marine Works)

Marine Site Investigation at Sunny Bay, Lantau Island

With immediate effect and for a period of approximately five months,

marine site investigation works involving drilling of vibrocores, boreholes, cone
penetration test and in-situ vane shear test will be carried out within the area
bounded by straight lines joining the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum)
from (A) to (I) and the adjacent shoreline:

(A) 22°19.727'N 114°01.541'E

(B) 22°19.782'N 114°01.496'E

(C) 22°20.211'N 114°01.551'E

(D) 22°20.277'N 114°01.554'E

(E) 22°20.317'N 114°01.567'E

(F) 22°20.350'N 114°01.595'E

(G) 22°20.382'N 114°01.630'E

(H) 22°20.596'N 114°02.137'E

(I) 22°20.782'N 114°02.668'E

2. The works will be carried out by two jack-up barges, one flat top barge
and one dumb lighter. Three tugboats will provide assistance. Vessels
engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local
regulations.

3. A working area of approximately 50 metres around each barge and the

lighter will be established. Yellow flashing lights will be installed at the four
corners of each jack-up barge to indicate its position. Yellow marker buoys
fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors
extending from the flat top barge and the lighter.

4. The hours of work will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No works will
be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works
will stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

5. Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.

6. A drawing showing the works area is attached to this Notice.
