Rod wave

Rod wave is the artist that should come to Gainesville High because majority of students and staff at this

school agrees he should come and everyone likes him. Rod wave is an inspirational artist for some people

and for others , he may be a way of coping with how they feel with the lyrics of his song. Sure other

students might have other reasons for a different artist to come out, but Rod Wave should be taken into

consideration to be the artist chosen to come out to the school.

Rod Wave is very nice and kind, he is the Principles best friend and he often comes to our school for

events and football games, so him coming out to our school should be no problem. Students will

definitely be able to somewhat agree with some things he may talk about or even if he's just talking about

what he goes through. He may give advice on how he doesn't let his weight, feelings, and problems get

the best of him, and he can give advice on how to ignore things and just accept yourself. Rod Wave

always shows his fans love and he helps anyone in need and he spreads positivity and he promotes self

love.

Rod Wave is known for his talent in the music industry and his many music grammy awards, which he

has earned by being an inspirational rapper, but also fans love him because he's heavy on self love. In

Rod’s latest song, he added lyrics stating to “Pick your head up, put your clothes on, tell the DJ to play

your song.. etc” . After interviewing students at GHS, they were required to write down what those lyrics

mean to them. All sixteen students interviewed had the same answer, that the lyrics were wanting them to

accept themselves and have self love. They stated that those lyrics uplifted their mood , and that if they

were feeling upset, those lyrics reminded them to pick themselves up and move on or try again. When
Rod Wave raps, he doesn't just rap. He speaks on going through hard times and how came from

brokeness, heartbreak and trials he went through and how even after all that he still made it. The lyrics he

sings help students and anyone that listens to him in different ways. There's so many emotions in his

songs that people can relate to, and so many people get positive messages from them.

Rod Wave has millions of fans, so he is very well known and respected , and just about every student in

school knows about him, even if they don't listen to him. Rod Wave also went to school here for his ninth

through twelfth grade year, and in his latest interviews he opened up about how he was bullied in high

school. If he comes to our school he can share his story fully and explain to the students here how he

stood up to his bullies without using violence. This would be a good reason for him to come because he

can explain to the students how things can be resolved without violence and how it's never okay to bully

or even resort to violence, and students will most likely listen to him because he may be an idol to some ,

and when students see their idols doing something they listen and follow them more then they do with

teachers and staff here at school. Rod wave can relate to some students here because he has been to high

school and knows how stressful it can be and he can give them useful advice and knowledge about

learning to try hard no matter where you come from and what you went through because there's always a

way for you to succeed.

Rod Wave is a top donator for this school, so to show gratitude towards his act of kindness, we should

give him the honor of being the artist to come out to GHS. Rod Wave is a good person and the students

will really enjoy him being here and they can take something significant out of him being here and it will

definitely help them out in life no matter what it is they take from his presence of being here. So staff of

Gainesville High , please take this letter into consideration and allow Rod Wave to be the artist to visit

Gainesville High School.
