The pandemic forced employees into working from home at an unprecedented scale, and
some of these new working practices will probably endure. Workers are on the whole

satisfied with the experiment and would like to continue working from home about half the
time, managers however are not so keen.

According to some research, a hybrid approach combining work at the office (for
collaborative work) and at home (for focused work) could be highly productive. It is also a

way to attract talent and improve employee engagement with better working conditions.

For managers, it means developing new digital skills and tools. It also means that the gap
between intellectual, well-paid office workers and service workers who cannot benefit from
