Do Social media benefit communication? Do you agree or not.

Social media has benefited communication in a large number of ways. I

completely agree with this idea as it has reduced the communication
gap between people and has benefited individuals and societies.

To begin with, social media has benefited the written and spoken
communication. This is because previously people were hesitated to
send their children abroad for higher studies due to lack of
communication. With the advent of the internet and the social media
applications such as Facebook and Snap chat, parents can talk to their
young ones at any time and thus, they prefer to send their kids for
higher studies. Thus, due to social media applications, individuals can
go and study abroad.

Another important reason is that a number of social media websites are

available. In other words, people can find the like-minded people and
can develop friendships. Furthermore, individuals who are disabled and
have no social connections can also communicate in/at different social
forums and can make friends and increase their social circles. Hence,
social media benefits friendship and disabled people.

Finally, one can discuss different issues related to areas, cities and
countries through social media. A large number of groups and forums
are available in which the individuals can discover about latest news of
their cities or any hot issues of the society. This will enable them to
know about different happenings going on in the society. Furthermore,
individuals who cannot afford hefty fees structure of universities can
adopt cheap online version of institutes to continue their studies and
become eligible to find good jobs in different markets and can benefit
the society as a whole. Consequently, social media benefits poor
individuals to grab education and employment opportunities in various
markets and brings employment in the society.

To conclude, social media is advantageous to students, disabled people,

poor individuals and brings employment opportunities and growth in
societies.
