Christian Greetings!

It is with great pleasure that I am writing to apply for the position of Senior High School Teacher to any school
in the District of Buenavista and Gasan, if possible, to Buenavista National High School (BNHS), Yook
National High School (YNHS) or Bognuyan National High School (BNHS) as this are the nearest school in my
locality.

In applying for the said position, I offer my instructional and facilitating capabilities as well as my over five
years teaching experience in a private school.

I am Aurora Malaya P. Rodelas, a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English from
Marinduque Midwest College. This opened an opportunity for me to engage in teaching and share my
computer skills in a secondary private school in our province.

My over five years teaching experience is quite challenging yet fulfilling. I was assigned in a private school in
Dawis, Gasan, Marinduque where I have to share my computer skills in a class with forty (40) students with
only four (4) computers to use. Considering the fact that every student has a zero knowledge in manipulating
computer, every time my students learn from me and acquire competency, it was such a rewarding experience.
That practice molded me to become innovative, creative and determined person. That teaching engagement also
widened my perspective to understand the needs of our society, as well as the essence of delivering quality
education and the vital role of teacher in nation building that pushes me to continue my education by pursuing
my bachelor’s degree.

In my desire to develop my skills, I enrolled and acquired National Certificate (NCIII) in Bookkeeping and
National Certificate (NCII) in Electronic Products Assembly and Servicing. Thus, I am confident that I can
handle COMPUTER, BOOKKEEPING and TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL and LIVELIHOOD subjects.

Furthermore, my time in school has developed my philosophy of valuing each child as a unique individual as
well as an integral part of the community. I aim to give learners as many learning opportunities and experiences
as possible in order to engage, motivate and prepare them for future life. I will incorporate each different
learning style as well as make the content relevant to students’ lives. So, learning will be vital and meaningful.

Even though I am just about to take the Licensure Examination for Teacher this coming September 25, 2022, I
am confident that my skills as well as my experiences would be an excellent match for this position and qualify
to take on the challenges that teaching offers. Although we are in pandemic, I am eager to demonstrate my
talent and teaching skills and to commit to high standard in the education of the Filipino youth.
