APPROPRIATE FIRST AID TECHNIQUES
• Call emergency services right away.
• Keep the person still and calm. Ensure they are lying down
and elevate their feet slightly if possible.
• Do not give them anything to eat or drink.
• Monitor their vital signs (pulse, breathing and level of
consciousness).
• Cover them with a blanket or jacket to keep them warm.

• Bleeding Control - If there is severe external bleeding, apply

pressure to stop the bleeding but avoid pressing directly on
the injury if internal bleeding is suspected . Elevate the injury
to control bleeding and prevent further complications.
• Fracture Management - Immobilize the injured area and
provide support to prevent further damage or aggravation of
the fracture.

CONCLUSION
A comprehensive strategy that addresses site
assessment, equipment use and appropriate training is
needed to prevent falls at construction sites. The
danger of falls can be reduced by putting safety
procedures into place, offering fall prevention
equipment and performing routine inspections. It's
important to know basic first aid in case of a fall. The
outcome can be greatly affected by prompt action. In
addition to preventing falls, having the right training
and procedures in place may guarantee prompt and
efficient action in the event of an accident. Ranali SID00456
