People with this personality tend to be withdrawn and aloof. They

prefer their thoughts to talk to other people. They tend to be careful, critical

and always try to maintain good qualities for themselves. They are often

knowledgeable and develop their talents in an environment that they find

enjoyable (Eysenck, 2008, p. 31).

From the movie that are going to analyze, the writer watches movie

repeatedly and read the script carefully. In the film, there is a scene when

Lindsay and Jenny were lost and want to get help. Their car tire was burst, and

there was no one passing them. They decided to get out of the car and look for

someone to help them. They walked into the wood and finally, they found a

house. They had to walk very far into the wood to find the house.

personality disorder due to the abnormal and inhumane acts he has

committed against others.

A. The Kinds of Dr. Heiter Personality Disorder in The Human

Centipede Movie by Tom Six

1. Antisocial Personality Disorder

“Someone who has ASPD will tend to commit criminal or illegal acts

and violate the law or regulations repeatedly, such as stealing, kidnapping,

damaging other people's property, killing, and other illegal acts that are

against the law. In addition, he will manipulate and lie as long as whatever he

wants can be achieved.” (Atsushi, 2014, p.59)

In the opening scene of this movie, Dr. Heiter was fell silent in his car

while looking at the photo of his three dogs who had died after being made

into his guinea pig. Dr. Heiter noticed that someone had stopped near his car.

That person was a truck driver who stopped temporarily to urinate. Dr. Heiter

followed him quietly, sedated him, then kidnapped him and tied him to a bed

in his basement. This truck driver is the first victim of Dr. Heiter.

Another scene shows Dr. Heiter's mansion. His mansion is a one- story

villa situated deep into a German forest. Then in minute 13:01, two female

tourists, Lindsay and Jenny come into his house to ask for help. That moment

is Dr. Heiter's opportunity to add guinea pigs to his experiment.
