Indication: Known HCV related Compensated Cirrhosis. EGD for variceal surveillance.

Medications: 4% Xylocaine solution ,Inj Midazolam 2mg+1mg,Nalbin 3mg

Esophagus: Small esophageal varices without any high-risk stigmata.

Stomach: Normal. No varices.

Pylorus: Normal.

Duodenum: Normal.

Specimens: Nil.

Intervention: Nil.
Complications: Nil.

Assessment: Small Esophageal Varices.

Treatment: Start NSBB (Carvedilol).

Comfort Level: Mild discomfort

Quality Assurance: 2nd part of duodenum intubated Yes Retroflexed view of cardia obtained Yes

Follow Up: OPD in 3 months.
