    An upper GI endoscopy was performed on a 64-year-old male patient who presented with an upper GI bleed. The endoscopy revealed a large gastric ulcer with an exposed vessel located below the gastroesophageal junction along the posterior wall. No other abnormalities were found. Due to the active bleeding seen from the ulcer, urgent surgical or interventional radiology intervention was recommended for treatment.
