ABSTRACT
The Online Leave Management System for students is a comprehensive web-based solution
designed to revolutionize the way educational institutions handle leave requests. This system

Students can easily submit leave requests through a user-friendly interface, specifying the
type and duration of their absence. The system incorporates a robust database to store and

Automated notifications alert both students and administrators about the status of leave requests,
minimizing communication gaps.
Administrators can access a centralized dashboard to review, approve, or deny leave

confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access. It also generates detailed reports, aiding in
monitoring attendance patterns and identifying trends.
Furthermore, the system includes a calendar feature to visualize approved leaves,

streamlined and technologically advanced solution, we introduce the Online Student Leave
Management System.

handling of student leave applications. The conventional methods, involving paper formsand
manual approvals, are not only time-consuming but also prone to errors and miscommunication.
The shift towards an online solution arises from the necessity to enhance theoverall efficiency of the
leave management process.
2. Purpose: The primary purpose of the Online Student Leave Management System is to
revolutionize the way academic institutions handle student leave requests. By leveraging digital
technologies, the system aims to provide a user-friendly and transparent platform that automates
the entire leave management workflow—from application submission to approval or denial,
whilealso facilitating efficient communication between students and administrative staff.
1.2RATIONALE :-
To develop Online Student Leave Management System is driven by the need for a more
efficient , transparent, and accessible solution to manage student leave within educational
institutions. This transition to an online platform aligns with modern technological trends,
enhances overall productivity, and contributes to a more sustainable and data -secure academic
environment.

 Student Leave Application:
The system will allow students to submit leave applications online, specifying the reason,

and approving/denying leave requests

Automated notifications will be implemented to keep students and faculty informed at every stage
