INTRODUCTION
In recent times, the significance of cleanliness and hygiene has been magnified,
bringing these essential practices to the forefront of our daily lives. Within
educational settings, such as classrooms, maintaining a clean and hygienic
environment has become increasingly important for the well-being and safety of
students and teachers alike. As part of our commitment to understanding and
improving the conditions in which learning takes place, we conducted a
comprehensive survey to assess the cleanliness and hygiene of surfaces and
materials in the classroom.
This survey report aims to provide valuable insights into the current state of
cleanliness and hygiene practices within educational institutions. By examining
the conditions of surfaces and materials commonly found in classrooms, we
sought to identify areas that require attention and potential areas for
improvement. Our findings will serve as a foundation for promoting effective
strategies and best practices that contribute to a healthier and safer learning
environment.
BACKGROUND
The data analysis section of this report focuses on evaluating the satisfaction ratings provided by
Grade 11 students at Amparo High School regarding the cleanliness and hygiene of surfaces and
materials in their classrooms. These satisfaction ratings serve as valuable indicators of the
student's perceptions and experiences in relation to the cleanliness and hygiene practices within
the school.
By conducting a thorough analysis of the data, we aim to gain meaningful insights into the students'
level of satisfaction and identify areas that require attention or
improvement.
Based on the feedback received regarding the cleanliness of the chairs or seating in the
classroom, it is observed that 36.7% of respondents indicated being neither satisfied nor
dissatisfied, the same as satisfied. Additionally, 26.6% of participants reported being highly
satisfied, whereas no respondents indicated dissatisfaction or high dissatisfaction.
Based on the feedback received regarding the cleanliness of the whiteboard or chalkboard in the classroom, it was
observed that 50% of respondents indicated being neither satisfied nor
dissatisfied. At the same time, the second one is satisfied, which is 23.3%,
and 23.4% of participants reported being dissatisfied, whereas 3.3% of
respondents indicated being highly dissatisfied and highly satisfied.
SURVEY METHOD
A structured questionnaire employing a satisfaction
rating scale was distributed electronically to Grade 11
students at Amparo High School, allowing them to
assess the cleanliness and hygiene of surfaces and
materials in their classrooms and provide quantifiable
ratings of satisfaction.
