‘How To’ Guide

Secure Pull Print is a printing innovation which enables users to send print jobs to a server and
retrieve them from any Secure Pull Print enabled printer on Caterpillar’s network.

1. How to Print 2. How to Retrieve Your Documents

Simply click Print as normal, except
now your printer is named Secure Pull
Print Queue-AP.
Scan Badge
Walk up to any Secure Pull Print enabled printer and scan your badge.
Select HP AC Secure Pull Print
Select HPAC Secure Pull Print to open your queue of documents.
You should see the screen below after these two steps.

This should be your default printer.

3. How to Use Your Secure Pull Print Queue

Print All Button:
To print all your documents, do not select any documents. Simply click the ‘Print all’ button.
Print-Delete Button:
To delete the document after it’s printed, select a print job then click the ‘Print-Delete’ button.
Print-Keep Button:
To leave the document after it’s printed, select a print job then click the ‘Print-Keep’ button.
Refresh Button:
If you do not see a print job on the printer right away, clicking the ‘Refresh’ button should end the wait. If you do not see this
button, unselect all documents, and it should appear.
Delete Button:
This button will not appear unless a document is selected. To delete a document without printing it, select a print job then click
the ‘Delete’ button.
Home Button:
Leave the queue by using the button in the top left-hand corner when finished. Then touch the Red ‘X’ in the top left-hand
corner of the next screen to end your session or click Sign out.

Other Notes: Documents will be deleted from the queue 72 hours after printing

printed until the user is identified and authenticated at the printer and actively releases the print
