grief and the transformative power of storytelling as Conor finds out the truth about
his Mum´s illness and later death by understanding and healing.

The three tales

The first story is about a prince who seeks revenge on his brothers but ends up
destroying himself in the process.

The second story is about an apothecary ( chemist) who tries to help a sick queen
with a potion but ends up causing more harm than good.

The third story is about a parson who sacrifices his daughters to a tree in hopes of
saving them, but it doesn't work.

Each tale teaches Conor something about life, truth, and letting go, helping him

understand his own feelings and struggles as his mother battles cancer.

The Happy Prince

"The Happy Prince" is a short story by Oscar Wilde about a golden statue of a prince

overlooking a city. The prince, once a real person, is now adorned with precious

jewels and covered in gold leaf. From his pedestal, he sees the suffering of the

people below and calls for the help of a swallow to distribute his wealth to the poor.

As the swallow selflessly helps the prince, they both transform, learning about love,

sacrifice, and the true meaning of happiness. In the end, the statue is stripped of its

gold and jewels, but the leaden heart inside, representing the prince's compassion,

remains. It's a grat tale about empathy, selflessness, and the value of kindness.
